Tapped For Sap 25k+ Trail Race
The event is a roughly 16-mile loop labeled as a 25K+ trail race held on the trails of Brady's Run Park in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. The course covers much of the park and mixes paved and single-track surfaces, with about 25% paved and 75% trail. Terrain is runnable but includes rooty and rocky sections, rolling hills, several significant climbs and descents, and approximately 2,300 feet of ascent and descent.
Aid and support are provided along the course: a water stop at 4.5 miles; two maple syrup shot stations at about 6.75 and 12 miles (these also offer water); and a fully stocked aid station at 7.5 miles with water, electrolyte drinks, soda, and sweet and salty snacks. First-aid supplies are available at the aid station and at the start/finish. Toilets include port-a-johns at the start/finish and at the aid station; permanent restroom facilities in the park are also accessible.
Event logistics noted by the organizer include 300 total registration spots, a $50 registration fee, no waitlist, limited refund exceptions for pregnancy or postpartum recovery, and that registrations after March 23 may not be guaranteed a shirt. Each participant receives a sleeveless tech shirt and a Rabbit RAD-dana; volunteers receive a shirt and food. The event is Trail Sisters Approved.
