Farther Together Endurance Challenge
The Farther Together Endurance Challenge is a family friendly endurance event in Allison Park, Pennsylvania, offering ruck, run and walk options on trail and pavement loops. The event raises funds for Folds of Honor Western PA.
Multiple course choices are available. A primary loop measures 4.7 miles and is mostly on trails with some hills. An adaptive course uses a 2.2 mile loop on pavement for participants who prefer or require paved surfaces. Timed multi-loop formats run for set durations so participants can complete as many loops as possible within the time limits; common options include 4 hours, 6 hours, 8 hours and up to 12 hours. Cutoff decisions for starting a final loop are made on race day.
Official rucking guidelines specify a weighted backpack of 30 pounds for men and 20 pounds for women. Participants may choose to carry less weight or no weight while registering for a multi-loop event. Registration opens on 2026-09-07 and closes on 2026-12-21. Fees listed include $70 for multi-loop and adaptive entries and $35 for the single loop entry. Limited day of event registration may be available, subject to the race director.
T-shirts, swag and door prizes are guaranteed for the first 100 registrants and a limited number of sweatshirts will be available for sale. Spectators and donations are accepted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
