Tanri Lake Race - Miramonte, CA
The Tanri Lake Race on August 29, 2026 takes place at Tanri Lake in Miramonte, California. The course sits at approximately 6,000 feet elevation and uses looped laps around the lake. Registration includes a Tanri hat and dinner on Saturday.
Distances and laps:
- Relay loops: 5 miles per loop.
- Individual laps: 5 miles per lap.
- 10K: one lake loop, 6.2 miles.
Relay race details: teams must consist of three runners. Each runner is required to complete four loops in the same order as the first loop; any deviation from that order may result in disqualification. There is no separate men's or women's division for the relay. Prize awards are listed for first through third place.
Individual race details: the individual event is a ten hour effort in which runners complete as many five mile laps as possible. Only individual entrants are eligible for the Western States raffle; runners qualify for the raffle by completing at least eight laps. Raffle ticket allocations increase for consecutive years of participation up to three years.
10K details: the 10K is a single loop around the lake. The 10K and individual events include men's and women's divisions with prizes for the top three finishers.
