The Talon Trail Races - Parkhill, Ontario
The event takes place on October 3, 2026, at the site associated with 32217 Kerwood Rd, Parkhill, Ontario. Routes run through mature forests, river valleys, technical singletrack and scenic countryside along the Ausable River.
Distances offered
- 26 km point to point course from Mystery Falls to Joany's Woods
- 11 km run combining two loops in Joany's Woods
- 7.7 km run or walk single loop in Joany's Woods
- 3.3 km walk single loop in Joany's Woods
The signature 26 km route is a point to point course that passes Mystery Falls, Scout Camp trails and gravel roads before finishing at Joany's Woods. The other courses are looped and share a common gathering area for participants and spectators.
Each registration includes an event race shirt, aid stations with water and snacks, one post race beverage from the BackRoads beer garden, shuttle transportation, and finish times for 7.7 km, 11 km and 26 km participants. Parking is located at the West Williams Community Centre and complimentary shuttle buses transport participants and spectators between the centre and the trails throughout the morning.
The event is presented by BackRoads Brews + Shoes and supports Thames Talbot Land Trust and Ausable Bayfield Conservation Authority. Local food vendors will be on site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
