Sydney Trail Half Marathon Night Edition

The Sydney Trail Half Marathon Night Edition is a point-to-point trail race held on Saturday, 7 November 2026. The course is 21.1 km long with approximately +556 m and -556 m of elevation change. It starts at Golden Jubilee Field (Back Oval) and finishes at St Ives Showground (Louise Lennon Pavilion), and it runs through sections of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park.

The route combines flowing single track, technical climbs, fire trail sections and some waterfront trail. The event notes clear course markings and one aid station on course at the Warrimoo Track exit, located about 15.8 km in, supplied with PURE Sports Nutrition gels and electrolyte mixes. There is also an aid point after the finish.

Mandatory equipment for every runner includes a head torch, a fully charged mobile phone with a live SIM, and water carrying capacity of 500 ml. The event is cupless, so athletes must carry their own cup or bottle. Runners must respect road crossings where traffic control marshals are stationed.

Logistics include parking available at St Ives Showground and limited parking at Golden Jubilee Field with an optional coach shuttle from St Ives Showground to the start. Bib collection is available during race week and on race day. A bag drop service is provided by a 180 Cadence van with rules for labeled bags and no loose items. There is a strict four hour cutoff time for the half marathon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
