Swiss Valley Trail Races - Peosta, IA
The event is a trail running race set at Swiss Valley Nature Preserve in Peosta, Iowa. It offers multiple distance options on a looped trail that includes creek crossings, steep inclines, and rugged terrain.

The course is an approximate 5.2 mile loop with substantial climbing per loop, and the longer distances are completed by repeating the loop (the 25K is three loops and the 50K is six loops). Terrain details emphasize natural trail features and elevation changes rather than paved surfaces.
Event logistics note that parking and camping are located at Swiss Valley Park, close to the start and finish area, and shuttle service runs between the parking/camp areas and the start/finish. Free tent camping and use of showers are available at the Swiss Valley Campground near the race facilities.
Packet pickup includes an evening pickup at a downtown Dubuque brewery from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the day before the race, and race day packet pickup is available at the Swiss Valley Nature Center starting early on race morning.
