Sweater Weather 5K
The Sweater Weather 5K at Tamarack Resort is scheduled for October 17 2026 as part of the resort's First Annual Fall Fest. The event is a 5K run and walk that starts in the Village and follows foothill trails and mountain terrain before looping back to the Village for the finish. The setting is described as mountain views and crisp autumn air.
One Golden Pumpkin is hidden somewhere along the racecourse; the participant who finds it may choose between a Tamarack Resort 26/27 Season Pass or a foursome round of golf at Osprey Meadows Golf Course. All race bib numbers are entered into prize drawings held during the race awards ceremony, with prizes that include spa treatments, Elevation Studio classes, dining experiences, Tamarack Resort swag, and additional items.
Race participants receive race branded socks and finishers receive race branded patches. First through third place finishers receive medals in two divisions: ages 13 and up, and youth 12 and under. Race entry is listed at $40. Registration can be bundled with Fall Fest tickets for a combined purchase option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
