Sunday L.S.D :18km (ish) Trail Run

This is an in-person trail run organised by Left Handed Giant Run Club that starts and finishes at Commune Cafe in Temple Hill, Bristol. The advertised distance is approximately 18 km and the event is described as a Long Slow Distance run focused on endurance and group running rather than racing.

Participants should be comfortable running at least 15 km without needing to stop or walk for this route. The club provides front and back runners, regular regrouping points, and a practice of walking the steeper hills so the whole group can recover together. As a guide the front of the group aims for about 5:45–6:15 min/km, though pace is adapted to the group on the day.

Practical notes provided for attendees include a bag drop, availability of coffee afterwards, and a recommendation to bring water, snacks, and a phone for safety. The run is led by volunteers from the club, and participants are expected to choose a route that matches their ability and to look after each other while moving at a running pace for the chosen distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
