Iwazaru Challenge Day 1
Scheduled for Saturday 26 June 2027, Iwazaru Challenge Day 1 is organised by Running Events Devon. The event is an eight hour timed challenge that uses a Turn Up Get Going system, so participants may start during the event start window and must complete their laps within the timed period. Entrants must be at least 15 years old. Maximum field size is 75 and entries close on 25/06/2027.
The course is an accurately measured road route on tarmac following a scenic, out and back line along an old disused train route. Each lap measures 5.3 km and the route is described as undulating. Walkers and runners may take part; finishing any number of laps within the permitted time is counted as a finisher and a medal is available to finishers. If the event reaches capacity, later entrants will receive a bespoke medal chosen from those available on the day.
Entry categories and fees are listed for affiliated and unattached runners, with options that do not include a medal or goodies:
- Affiliated £32.00
- Unattached £34.00
- Affiliated No Perks (no medal or goodies) £21.00
- Unattached No Perks (no medal or goodies) £23.00
Location: near Capel Lane, Littleham, Exmouth EX8 2QZ (what3words ///miss.race.open). Permit number ARC. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
