Studland Stampede race information

The Studland Stampede is a seaside running event held on Sunday 4 October 2026 in Studland Bay, Dorset. The race distance is approximately 12 km (7 miles). The event starts and finishes at the National Trust Studland Visitors Centre, Knoll Beach car park, off Ferry Road (B3351). The postcode BH19 3AH is close to the venue; the entrance to the National Trust car park is signposted from the main road.

A water station is located at approximately the halfway point of the course. Although there is no formal cut off time, runners who reach the halfway station after 1 hour 15 minutes will be offered a lift back to the start and finish area. It is noted that it is unusual for finish times to exceed 2 hours.

Prizes are awarded to the first three male and first three female finishers. All runners receive a race memento. Studland Bay provides visitor facilities, including a cafe, managed by the National Trust.

The event is supported by the Studland National Trust and a number of local businesses and organisations, including LUSH, The Pig On The Beach, Knoll House Hotel, Studland Sauna, Purbeck Ice Cream and Dorset Flapjacks, among others. A route map and full race information will be published nearer the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
