Stowmarket 5K Colour Run
The event is a fundraising 5K run, walk or stroll based at Stowmarket Town FC, Greens Meadow, with all proceeds going to the Stowmarket Town Football Club Youth Section. The route starts and finishes at the football club and combines scenic countryside with multi-terrain pathways and several colour stations that shower participants with bright, non-toxic powder.
The course includes grass and dirt trails, a short section alongside a busy road and a stile crossing, making the route unsuitable for buggies or wheelchairs. U12s must be supervised on the route and children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Goggles are advised for eye protection. Clothing and trainers may be permanently stained.
The finish area returns to the football club and features a sizzling BBQ and drinks. Entry is at participants own risk and the organisers are not responsible for any injury or loss. The use of buggies, wheelchairs or similar equipment is not permitted due to terrain and obstacles. By entering, participants agree to be photographed for promotional purposes.
