2027 Spring Third Winchester Battlefield 5k, 10k and Half
This event on April 4, 2027 takes place at Third Winchester Battlefield in Winchester, VA. It offers multiple distances and awards finisher recognition with a medal, a technical Drifit event shirt, and chip timing.

The course is a trail route on mostly light gravel dirt paths. The 5k is one loop, the 10k is two loops, and the half marathon is three loops with an out and back detour each lap. Water stations are provided along each course; the half marathon has eleven stations placed at approximate mile markers, the 10k has five stations, and the 5k has two stations. Gatorade is available at some water stations.
Points from this event count toward the Year Long 5k, 10k, Endurance and Back of the Pack Series, and toward the Spring Series. Walkers are welcome and a virtual race option is available for participants who cannot attend in person.
Awards recognize the top three men and top three women overall and first and second place in multiple age categories. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered, though T shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registrants. The organizer does not allow unauthorized participation and reserves the right to remove violators from the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
