About the race
Spencer Park Adventure Rogaine is a double-format rogaine comprising a 1 hour mountain bike rogaine followed by a 1 hour foot rogaine. Entrants may compete individually or as teams, and may enter one event or both events. The event operates as a fundraiser for PAPO athletes travelling to international junior and senior orienteering championships.
Pre-entry is preferred for all PAPO events; pre-entries close on Wednesday 16 September 2026. Limited entry on the day will be available and on-the-day entries will be charged at non-member prices. Event registration and the start area will be adjacent to parking; the exact parking location at Spencer Park is to be confirmed.
Entry fees are set by membership status and age category. For both events, senior members pay $25 and non-members $35; junior members pay $15 and non-members $20. A family maximum applies: $60 for members and $80 for non-members. Single event fees are lower, with senior member fee $15 and non-member $20, junior member $10 and non-member $12.50, and family maximums of $40 and $60 respectively. Seniors are age 21 and over; juniors are age 20 and under or full-time students. Family groups normally consist of two seniors and any number of juniors at the same address; for family groups only the juniors need to register and pay when caregivers accompany children.
The event uses Sportident electronic timing with Air mode; standard SI sticks and SI Air+ are available for hire and standard SI hire is recommended for newcomers. Dogs are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
