Bloodroot Ultra
Bloodroot Ultra is a multi-day trail ultramarathon held at Riverside Farm in Pittsfield, Vermont, June 23–26, 2027. The event is part of the Spartan Summer Farm Experience and takes place on trails in the foothills of the Green Mountains and the Green Mountain National Forest.

The course includes rugged trail terrain and steep climbs across Riverside Trails and the Bloodroot Trail. Aid stations are planned at intervals on the course and are expected to offer water, electrolytes, and limited nutrition. Current aid planning notes three aid stations on Riverside Trails and four to five aid stations or checkpoints on the Bloodroot Trail. Drop bag access is provided by distance: the 50M has drop bag access at miles 0, 30, and 40; the 100M and 200M have drop bag access approximately every 10 miles. Additional drop bag instructions will be provided in the athlete guide.
The race emphasizes self-reliance. Pacers are not allowed for any distance. Headlamps are mandatory for the 50M, 100M, and 200M and may be required for participants who remain on course late in the day. Athletes must check out at the finish or with official staff and return timing chips before leaving the event site. The organizers may modify course, aid, cutoff, or other logistics for safety or environmental reasons.
