About the race
SOS - Narrabeen is a Saturday orienteering session held at Narrabeen Sports High School in North Narrabeen, NSW. The format uses school campus terrain with courses that emphasise speed, tight turns, and navigation around buildings, courtyards, stairs, and open areas. Each session includes multiple course types: Warm Up, Short Line, Long Line, Score, and a weekly relay course.
Entrants may run more than one course on the day. SPORTident electronic timing is used for all courses; hire of a timing card is available for entrants who do not own one. Standard entry fees are listed for adults and school students, with a member discount available via a promo code and a small late entry surcharge for registrations after the stated deadline. A free Buddy ticket option lets a non competing companion accompany and share the experience without a personal timing chip or map. Sessions feature coaches to provide guidance and results that track progress across the term.
The meeting point is Narrabeen Sports High School, 10 Namona Street, North Narrabeen.
