About the race

SOS - Arcadia is a Saturday Orienteering Series event held at Vision Valley, 7 Vision Valley Rd, Arcadia NSW 2159 (Pymble Ladies' College experiential learning campus). The event uses mapped courses through parks and urban bushland and offers a mix of course formats to suit different preferences.

Courses available include Warm Up (recommended for beginners), Short Line, Long Line, and Score. Entrants may run multiple courses on the day. A start window is provided so participants may begin within an allocated period. SPORTident electronic timing is used for all courses; timing card hire is available for A$4 per entrant. Orienteering club members can claim a member discount by using the promo code ONSW at checkout.

Standard entry fees are listed as Adults A$18 and School Students A$15; member discounts are 15% where applicable. A A$2 late fee applies if entering after midday on the Thursday before the event. Prices include GST and merchant fees. A free Buddy Ticket is offered for adults who accompany a young or inexperienced orienteer without receiving a personal timing chip or map.
