Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri
Snowdonia Trail Marathon Eryri is a multi-distance trail running event based in Llanberis and set within Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park. The event takes place over two days in July 2027 and offers four race distances.
- 10K: 9.8 km
- Half Marathon: 13.2 miles
- Marathon: 28.9 miles
- Ultra Marathon: 58 km
Routes run across rugged trails, forest tracks and steep climbs, and include panoramic mountain scenery. Selected distances pass the slopes of Yr Wyddfa and routes incorporate places such as Rhyd Ddu, Beddgelert, Nant Gwynant and Pen y Pass.
The event village includes music, commentary, shopping, food, kit demos and toilets. Family-focused elements include family finishes and a 500 m kids fun run called the Jones o Gymru Dolbadarn Dash; on-the-day entry carries a suggested donation of £3 with proceeds to the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team.
On-course support comprises marshals, route signage, energy stations and support vehicles. Race services include chip timing and live online results. The Marathon and Ultra Marathon are indexed by ITRA and UTMB. Event operations are bilingual with signs, registration and commentary available in English and Welsh.
