SkyRun Eryri / Snowdon Skyrace
SkyRun Eryri is a skyrunning weekend held in Rhyd-Ddu, Eryri / Snowdonia on 15 August 2026. The event offers four mountain races that follow high and varied terrain around Snowdon and the Welsh 3000s.
The programme includes the following distances:
- 14 Peaks Ultra : 55 km / 34 mi
- Snowdon SkyRace : 38 km / 24 mi
- Copper SkyTrail : 27 km / 17 mi
- Fairy Trail : 16 km / 10 mi
Each race lists substantial elevation gain and time limits. Reported elevation gains are approximately 3,900 m+, 3,300 m+, 2,300 m+, and 950 m+ respectively, with cut-off limits of 16, 12, 8, and 4 hours. Aid provision varies by route from one water point up to three aid stations.
Route descriptions note the use of the Welsh 3000s route on the longest course, grade 1 scrambles on portions of the SkyRace, technical rocky trails on the Copper SkyTrail, and faster grassy sections on the Fairy Trail.
