SkyRun Eryri / Snowdon Skyrace

SkyRun Eryri is a skyrunning weekend held in Rhyd-Ddu, Eryri / Snowdonia on 15 August 2026. The event offers four mountain races that follow high and varied terrain around Snowdon and the Welsh 3000s.

The programme includes the following distances:

  • 14 Peaks Ultra : 55 km / 34 mi
  • Snowdon SkyRace : 38 km / 24 mi
  • Copper SkyTrail : 27 km / 17 mi
  • Fairy Trail : 16 km / 10 mi

Each race lists substantial elevation gain and time limits. Reported elevation gains are approximately 3,900 m+, 3,300 m+, 2,300 m+, and 950 m+ respectively, with cut-off limits of 16, 12, 8, and 4 hours. Aid provision varies by route from one water point up to three aid stations.

Route descriptions note the use of the Welsh 3000s route on the longest course, grade 1 scrambles on portions of the SkyRace, technical rocky trails on the Copper SkyTrail, and faster grassy sections on the Fairy Trail. Some races carry UTMB points. The event lists support from national and local organisations and works with multiple event suppliers and partners.
