Six-O Trail Run - Cleburne, TX
The Six-O Trail Run is a multi-distance trail event held on the Six-O Ranch, a 1600-acre working cattle ranch on the edge of the Texas Hill Country in Cleburne, Texas. Distances offered include:
- 50K
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 6 Miler
The ranch features over 20 miles of trail. Course surfaces combine single track, dirt ranch roads, and crossings over wide open fields. The route may include a couple of water crossings depending on conditions.
Ranch logistics note that dogs are not allowed because this is a working ranch. Tent and RV camping is available Friday night only for $10 per site; camping is primitive with no electric, water, or sewer. Portable toilets will be available and camping fees are collected by the organizer on behalf of the ranch owners, with all proceeds going to the owners. Parking on race day is $5, collected on behalf of the ranch owners.
Entry options and availability vary; published entry prices range from USD 58.50 to USD 136.62 across available offers. A volunteer program awards race credits that can be applied to future events and some credits can be transferred between family members. The event’s refund and transfer policy issues race credit based on cancellation timing: more than 30 days before the event yields 100% race credit; between 30 days and two weeks yields 50% race credit; less than two weeks offers no refunds or transfers.
