Six Dales Circuit
The event is a 25 mile circuit in the White Peak that visits Biggin Dale, Wolfscote Dale, Beresford Dale, Hartington, Monyash, Lathkill Dale, Bradford Dale, Middleton and Long Dale before returning to Biggin. The published start and finish location is Biggin Village Hall, SK17 0DL, grid reference SK155592, and the mapped route uses White Peak OL24 at 1:25 000 scale.
Refreshments are available at three checkpoints and a meal is provided at the finish. The entry package includes a route description, snacks and drinks at checkpoints, a finish meal and a certificate. The organiser lists required equipment including waterproofs, a map (OL24), compass, route description, mug, whistle and torch.
The event has an entry limit of 200 and a waiting list is operated when the event is full. Entry fees on the published page show different prices for members and non members. Entrants must use the free car park provided as directed by event marshals and parking on roads or verges is not permitted. Dogs are welcome on short leads but are not allowed inside village halls; owners must confirm they have appropriate liability insurance and are responsible for any damage.
