The event is an Ultra Challenge trail event in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Saturday 18 September 2027. Basecamp is at the Discovery Centre in Craven Arms. Participants may walk, jog, or run on looped routes.
Distances available:

The main 55 km route heads southwest on trails to Knighton on the Welsh border, passes through the historic village of Leintwardine, and approaches the finish with a view of Stokesay Castle. The route includes about 1350 metres of total climb.
Support and logistics include covered rest stops approximately every 12.5 km with larger rest stops about every 25 km, marquee cover, catering with snacks and drinks, medical teams, podiatrists, and massage services. The route is fully signed and GPS tracking is provided through an event app. The timing system scans participants at rest stops and progress is monitored by a control room.
Event services noted in the event information include camping at basecamp, shuttle buses and transfers to local stations, parking at finish areas, a solo start option, and alternative participation formats called Ultra March and Trailblazerz. Finishers receive a medal, a finisher T shirt, and a glass of fizz; a hot meal at the finish is offered with an optional arrangement for 10 km entrants.
