Shotley 24
Shotley 24 is a 24 hour trail running and camping weekend held on the Shotley peninsula in Suffolk, with Race HQ at Shotley Village Hall in Stutton. The event uses a fully marked coastal lap of approximately 4.3 mile that combines farm track, forest path, country lanes, riverbank and tarmac footpath.
Entrants may compete solo, as a pair, or in teams of up to six runners. Solo runners who cover 100 miles or more receive a unique vest. The minimum age for entry is 18 years.
Entry includes overnight camping at Race HQ, event parking, toilets, use of an indoor area with kitchen facilities and complimentary tea and coffee. Additional on-course and event support features chip timing, medical cover, a restocked checkpoint at the end of each lap, bespoke medals and solo and team prizes. Complimentary massages and a Core & More Pilates warm up are also offered; participants should bring their own mat. Camping at Race HQ is reserved for competitors; friends and family may attend as daytime supporters.
The event operates under a TRA licence and UK Athletics rules. Optional on-site catering and a breakfast roll and coffee option are available at additional cost. Entry fees vary by entry type and are charged per person. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
