Shepshed 7 2026

The Shepshed 7 is a measured seven mile race on a scenic, traffic free countryside route through Garendon Park, held with permission of Persimmon Homes. The event takes place on Sunday 1st November 2026 at Iveshead School, Shepshed, LE12 9DA. The main race is fully marshalled and chip timed. Entrants must be over 16 to compete in the 7 mile race. All 7 mile finishers receive a commemorative t shirt and spot prizes are awarded in the main race.

Entry fees for the main race are £22 for affiliated runners and £24 for unaffiliated runners. Entries close on 30th October 2026. The deadline to guarantee a chosen t shirt is 5pm on Thursday 25th September; after that entrants will receive varied sizes. There are no entries on the day for the main race.

The 7 mile race has an extensive prize list with trophies and prizes for all categories. One individual prize is awarded per person. Male and female prizes include 1st to 5th places and age category awards such as First Under 20, S20, V30, V40, V50, V60, V70, and V80. Team prizes are based on the top three finishers.

Facilities include toilets and changing, limited onsite free parking, and hot and cold refreshments. A separate Fun Run is available with entry on the day for a fee of £5. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
