She Strides Women’s only 50k

The event is a women’s only ultramarathon of 50k held in the heart of West Yorkshire on 31 July 2027. It is described as the first ever women’s only ultra race in this area.

The route starts and finishes at Wadsworth Community Centre in Old Town, Hebden Bridge, HX7 8RY, and travels through woodlands and open moorland. The course passes through Hebden Bridge and Haworth and other areas of outstanding natural beauty and includes about 5,000 ft of ascent. There is a 10 hour cut off time at the last checkpoint.

Participants must be 18 or older. Categories include solo, pair and a youth under 23 option. All finishers receive a medal and there is an option to add a quality cotton t shirt to an entry.

On course services include well stocked vegan friendly checkpoints, sanitary products at registration and checkpoints, and changing facilities at registration. Baggage storage is available at registration. Hot food and drinks are provided at the finish and a finish area bar is available. Support crew and event photographers are all female.
