Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge
The Sea to Sky Q1 Stair Challenge on Sunday 23 August 2026 is an organised vertical climb to SkyPoint’s observation deck. Participants ascend 77 floors from street level to the SkyPoint peak at 230 metres above ground. The event combines individual physical effort with a community focus on mental health awareness.
The stair challenge raises funds and awareness for LIVIN, a non-profit mental health awareness and education organisation. LIVIN develops educational programs, apparel, and community initiatives aimed at improving understanding of mental health.
Registration is available online until 12 noon the Saturday before the event or on the day, subject to availability. The event takes place at SkyPoint / Q1 and finishes at the SkyPoint Observation Deck. The format centres on climbing stairs rather than a horizontal running course, and participants choose their own pace during the ascent.
The event page references previous years’ activity and situates the challenge within SkyPoint’s visitor experiences. Organisers note the community aspect of the event and its role in supporting charitable work in mental health education. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
