Coach travel is available to ticket holders and organisers advise competitors to have a support driver available in case they need to leave the course early. The event will use GPS tracking and finishers receive a bespoke wooden medal. Due to terrain and possible bad weather, participants must carry minimum kit including a full body waterproof cover, hat and gloves, spare thermal top, foil blanket, the provided route map, a whistle, a fully charged mobile phone and at least 500 ml of water at the start.
Course records are listed for each distance by gender with recorded times from recent years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
