About the race
Scilly60 Events stages a series of multi island trail races in June 2027 on the Isles of Scilly, based around Porth Mellon and St Mary’s. The programme spans three race distances held on different days in June 2027.
The events and basic formats are:
- Scilly42: approx. 42 km, 4 stages, 4 islands, 8:30 min/km cut offs.
- Scilly60: approx. 60 km, 6 stages, 5 islands, 7:30 min/km cut offs.
- Scilly110: approx. 110 km, 6 stages, 5 islands, 7:30 min/km cut offs; final St Mary’s stage has an 8:30 min/km cut off due to darkness.
Races follow the coastal paths of the inhabited islands, with Scilly60 and Scilly110 including St Mary’s coast path before final loops back to St Mary’s. Scilly110 includes two loops of St Martin’s, Tresco, Bryher and St Agnes, then a final loop on St Mary’s. Terrain includes continuous undulation, rocky sections, sand and technical coastal paths. Inter-island transitions require tidal and logistical coordination.
Entry notes: places are limited and priority is given to runners with a Scilly60 finish for Scilly110. Runners who have not completed a Scilly60 are asked to supply evidence of a minimum 100 km trail race before entry is accepted. Refunds are available in full minus a £15 administration fee until 16 March 2027; after that date no refunds are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
