About the race
The Remembrance Run 2026 - South is an event held in Surrey at The Last Hop, Staines. It is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules. A two-minute silence will be observed during the event; the two minutes will be removed from official times.
This is a 7 hour Time Challenge where participants choose their distance. The minimum recorded distance is 3 km and a full lap is listed as 7 km (approximately 4.37 miles), though the lap may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. Turn points at 3 km and 5 km are provided. Typical lap counts: three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon, seven or more for an ultra; a 50 km option is available.

The course runs along the River Thames, is fully signed, and is approximately 60% on well-made path or tarmac and 40% grass and light trail which can become muddy. Road shoes are usable year round; trail shoes are optional for extra grip. Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a commemorative medal; distance pins are supplied for half-marathon and longer. Aid tables, goody bags including a vegan option, parking at Bridge Street Car Park (TW18 4TP), a non-secure bag area, and on-the-day number pick up at race registration are provided.
