This event in Surrey is a Remembrance Day run held along a stretch of the River Thames. The event includes an observed two minute silence; two minutes will be removed from official times to allow for this commemoration. The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules.
The format is a 7 hour Time Challenge that lets participants choose how far they run. The minimum official distance is 3 km. A full lap is listed as 7 km (4.37 miles) but may be changed to a shorter loop depending on course conditions. The lap contains 3 km and 5 km turn points to support UK Athletics age rules. Lap counts given by the organiser include three laps for a half marathon, six for a marathon, and seven or more for an ultra. A 50 km option is available.

Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a medal. Distance pins are provided for half-marathon distance and above. Aid and drinks tables are available at the start and finish of each lap with savoury, sweet, fruit, cheese, and vegan options.
