SATURN GNR & Time Turner 2026 : Durham
This is a seven hour timed running event on Sunday 30 August 2026 at Durham Amateur Rowing Club, Green Ln, Old Elvet, Durham DH1 3JU. The course follows a stretch of the River Wear with views of the Cathedral and is classified as a trail run. The route is fully signed so no navigation is required. Headphones are allowed. The event takes place on public footpaths and runners are asked to be considerate of other path users.
Finishers who complete at least 3 km receive a themed medal. Distance pins are available for Half‑Marathon, Mega‑Half, Marathon, 50 km and Ultra achievements. All finishers receive a goody bag; a vegan goody bag option is provided. An aid table and drinks table are available at the start and finish of each lap, with a selection of refreshments and snacks including vegan options.
Race facilities include toilets and changing space. A bag area is provided near the start and finish but it is unattended and the organiser accepts no liability for lost items. Nearby free on-street parking and pay and display city centre parking are available. Maximum entries are 300 and entries close 29 August 2026. Minimum age is 12 years. Runners wishing to cover more than 45 km must be at least 20 years old; 18 and 19 year olds may run up to 45 km.
