Sasquatch Shuffle Trail Runs
The Sasquatch Shuffle are fundraising trail runs held at Ponderosa State Park near McCall, Idaho. The event offers multiple looped distances and returns proceeds to local trails, specifically Ponderosa State Park trails.

Each loop measures 6.79 miles (about 11 km) with roughly 640 feet of gain per loop. The course is primarily single-track with varied terrain that includes rolling sections, rocky tread, flat stretches, flowy single-track, some double-track, occasional gravel, and short paved segments. Runners pass viewpoints with views of Payette Lake.
The event emphasizes low-impact practices and local support: no paper products are used at the race, aid and prizes come from McCall-area businesses, and the organizers aim to produce less than one bag of trash per race day. There is also a virtual option held October 1–31.
October weather in the mountains can be highly variable with shifts in temperature and possible precipitation, including snow; participants should be prepared for changing conditions. Campgrounds at Ponderosa State Park are typically open on a first-come, first-served basis, and overnight parking or car camping is only allowed within designated campsites.
