Sandhills Trail Race Series
The event takes place at Sesquicentennial State Park in Columbia, South Carolina, and uses a single 7.5 mile loop for multiple distances. The loop is mostly soft pine needle singletrack with a few smooth paved sections around the lake, rolling hills, sandy trails beneath towering pines, and regular water views. The loop passes both campsite locations, so crews and families can access the course easily.

- 7.5 Mile
One fully stocked aid station sits at the start/finish and is reached every 7.5 miles. The event is cup less so participants should bring their own hydration vessel. Packet pickup opens one hour before each race at Picnic Shelter #2 behind the ranger station. Parking is available in the open field adjacent to the start/finish; the main lot is also available. Overnight hours feature limited crew and aid support, and the overall time limit for completing all distances is 32 hours.
All finishers receive a medal and the 100 mile level earns a belt buckle. Trophies are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, and age group awards are given across 15 categories. The event also counts toward season recognition in the Upstate Trail Series and the Upstate Ultra Series and supports local nonprofits including the SC Spinal Cord Injury Association.
