Sadlers Creek Stumble
Sadlers Creek Stumble is a fall trail running and camping event at Sadlers Creek State Park in Anderson, SC on October 17, 2026. The event uses a single 6.8 mile loop on a Lake Hartwell peninsula that passes through woods, along lakeshore trails, and by campsites.
The loop surface is mostly trail (about 80%), with some gravel, pavement, and sand, and about 380 feet of elevation gain per lap spread over a few rolling hills. The course is looped and wide enough for running, with tall pines and lake breezes noted along the route.

- 10K one lap
- 13.1 miles two laps
- 26.2 miles four laps
- 32 Hour / 100 miles fifteen laps
Amenities and services include on-course parking at the ball field with a park special use permit fee, on-site camping options including lakefront park sites and primitive tent or car camping adjacent to the course about 150 meters from the main trailhead, a fully stocked aid station at the start/finish each lap, four sets of bathrooms on course, chip timing with live results, custom bibs and finisher medals, professional race photos, and post-race food offerings such as hot soup and pancakes. Packet pickup is at the Activity Center near the start/finish and proxy pickup is not allowed.
