Run with Scissors starts and finishes at Ledge Lake Lodge in the Cleveland Metroparks Hinkley Reservation in Hinckley, Ohio. The event offers trail distances that follow marked loops through the reservation.
The available distances are:
- 13 Miles Half Marathon, 1 loop
- 26 Miles Marathon, 2 loops
- 52 Miles Double Marathon, 4 loops
The course is a trail route that winds through rocks, roots and fields. It is described as moderately difficult and has an average elevation gain of about 1,600 feet per loop. The half and full marathon distances are described as hiker friendly.
