Event Overview
The Run the Vineyards - Unionville event takes place at Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes, New Jersey. This event marks its tenth year and features a trail course that winds past miles of vines. Participants can choose between two chip-timed distances:
- 8K
- 5K
The 8K race has a requested time limit of 1 hour and 40 minutes, while the 5K has a 1-hour time limit. Walkers and children are welcome to participate in the 5K distance. Registration is mandatory for all individuals on the course to ensure participant safety.
Race Features and Amenities
Participants receive a souvenir stemless wine glass and a high-quality tech tee, with options for women's or men's fits. A long-sleeve shirt upgrade is available for an additional fee. The course includes multiple water stations, and finish line refreshments such as water and bananas are provided. Finisher medals are available for purchase both online and on the day of the event while supplies last.
The event includes professional timing with live-streamed results and free downloadable photos for all runners. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in age groups ranging from 14 and under to those 70 and over.
Post-Race Reception
After the run, participants aged 21 and over receive a glass of wine, with additional wine available for purchase. The post-race atmosphere includes live music and a food truck offering various options. Spectators are welcome to attend and may purchase wine after the races have concluded.
