Black Friday Beer Trail Run : Readington Brewery
The 2nd Annual Black Friday Anniversary Beer Trail Run takes place at Readington Brewery in Readington Township, NJ and marks the brewery’s five-year anniversary. The event format pairs running with beer service: participants complete 5 laps on a loop course and receive 5 individual 10 oz Readington beer pours, with one pour provided before each lap.
The course is a marked loop around the brewery composed of grass and gravel with slight elevation changes. Beer stations are located at the start and finish area for each lap. The first participant to complete the fifth lap is declared the winner. Participants are grouped into men’s and women’s heats, with the women’s heat running first.
Participation requires age verification and administrative steps: all participants must be 21 or older, sign the required waiver, and be part of a group that includes a designated driver. Water and first aid will be available on site. No outside alcohol is permitted. Costumes and creative race attire are encouraged.
The registration fee is $40 per participant and includes the five beer pours, a Readington Brewery T-shirt, and access to the brewery anniversary activities such as a live DJ during the run, live music by Anyone’s Choice, food trucks, fire pits, giveaway items, a limited edition anniversary beer release, and brewery merchandise offers.
