Run the Vineyards - Running Hare 5K
Run the Vineyards is a chip-timed 5K held at Running Hare Vineyards in Prince Frederick, Maryland on May 15, 2027. The course runs across the winery property and the event welcomes runners, walkers, and children.
Race features include shirt options for women, men/unisex or youth, with an optional women's racerback tank and optional men's tank. Finishers over 21 receive a glass of Running Hare wine, and all finishers receive a Run the Vineyards stemless wine glass. Souvenir finisher medals are available for an additional fee. A live musician performs after the race and a food truck is on site for the after-party. Free downloadable race photos are provided by a professional photographer.
Awards are presented to the top three overall and to age group winners in specified age brackets. Walkers must be registered and start behind the runners for safety. A 70 minute time limit is requested for participants. Discount pricing is available for children; wine ticket is not included for them.
The event is held rain or shine. No transfers or refunds are allowed. Strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course. Packet pick-up takes place on race day at the Good Day for a Run tent.
