Run the Vineyards - Ingleside Vineyards 5K/8K
The 10th annual Run the Vineyards takes place at Ingleside Vineyards in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The event uses a well marked off road course that runs through about 50 acres of vineyards with rolling hills. Both distances are chip timed.

- 5K Walkers welcome; 1 hour time limit requested.
- 8K Run; walkers requested to sign up for the 5K.
The event includes a stemless wine glass for all finishers and a complimentary glass of wine for participants age 21 and older. A custom tech shirt in multiple sizes is included; first choice of size or style is guaranteed for requests made by March 29. Finisher medals are available for purchase during registration or on race day.
On course and finish amenities include course marshals, water stations, bananas and water at the finish line. Awards are given to top three overall male and female finishers and to age group winners; age groups include 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29 and then every 10 years. Children receive a registration discount and wine tickets are not provided for them.
The after party on the winery patio features a live musician, a food truck, and wine for purchase. Photos are provided free for download and emailed within 48 to 72 hours.
