About the race
FALL Run The Farm takes place on October 25, 2026 at Muscoot Farm in Katonah/Somers, New York. The event includes a trail 5 mile race and two kids races held on farm roads, meadows, and single‑track trails that wind through the park.
Distances offered:
- 5 mile trail race on farm roads, meadows, and single track
- 1.1 mile kids course for ages 7 to 12
- 0.6 mile kids course for ages 6 and under
The adult course begins on farm roads, moves into back meadows, and contains several single‑track sections where passing is limited. There are wider forest meadow stretches around the 1.5 and 2 mile marks and the trail widens again approaching the farmyard finish. The spring course runs the same distance in the opposite direction.
Logistics and policies: parking is across the road and is included with registration. Restrooms are available near the start and finish; there are no restrooms or water stations on course. Packet pickup occurs on race morning and bibs may be picked up for family members. T shirts cost extra and are recommended to be ordered in advance. There is no gear check; valuables are best left in a vehicle.
Participants receive Farm Bucks at the finish for use at the Muscoot Farmer's Market; kids receive $2, 5 mile finishers receive $5. Kids race finishers receive medals; there are no medals for the 5 mile race. Dogs are not permitted at Muscoot Farm except for service animals trained to perform a task. Registration is non refundable and non transferable. The event is organized by Run the Farm Races and is sanctioned by USA Track and Field.
