Run The Bluffs - 19th Annual
Run The Bluffs is a community run and walk organized by XTC Events 501 c3 at The Bluffs Regional Park in Lone Tree, CO. The course is a 2.5 mile loop on a hilly dirt path that offers wide, 360-degree views. The event is dog friendly and notes that most prizes will be awarded to participating dogs while some awards will go to humans.
The event raises funds for the Colorado Animal Care Foundation; the organizer states that 100% of profits benefit the foundation. The foundation’s foster volunteers provide care and resources for dogs in their homes, and the event supports those efforts.
Logistics noted by the organizer include free parking, an in-person format, and an approximate event duration of three hours. Registration fees and optional apparel are listed as concrete costs: registration is $30 plus fees and event T-shirts are $20 plus fees. The event offers a refund policy allowing refunds up to seven days before the event.
Directions point to The Bluffs Regional Park at 10099 Crooked Stick Trail, Lone Tree, CO 80124. The organizer will present prizes at the northern outlook near the top of the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
