Run Sage Creek 2026
Run Sage Creek 2026 is organized by the Sage Creek Residents' Association and community members. The event takes place on September 12, 2026 around Ron Duhamel Park and École Sage Creek in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Distances offered:
- 1K: youth series, not chip timed
- 3K: chip timed, approximate distance
- 5K: chip timed, certified exactly 5K
- 10K: chip timed, two laps of the 5K course
Courses use a mix of road, sidewalk and trail surfaces. Most races start in front of École Sage Creek School and several finish on the path between the school and Ron Duhamel Park. The 10K is two loops of the 5K course.
Finisher medals are awarded for all distances. The 5K is part of the Manitoba Runners' Association Classic Series and is certified by Athletics Canada. The 1K is part of the Youth Series and allows one caregiver to accompany registered participants under age 12; only registered participants receive a race kit and medal.
Race morning activities include warm up, staggered starts, food and vendors and finisher awards. Volunteer recruitment is open to support event operations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
