3rd Annual Berea Trail Runner 5K
The 3rd Annual Berea Trail Runner 5K is scheduled for October 24, 2026, at Silver Creek Bike Park on JC Chambers Lane in Berea, KY 40403. The event is a trail race held within the park's rolling hill countryside. Runners pass through the start and finish area twice during the course.
Course and on-site services include a municipal water fill station and a porta potty at the finish area. Post race snacks listed by the organizer include fresh fruit, candy, and chips. A dedicated race photographer will take photos on the trails and at the finish.
The event is described as a cupless low waste race; participants are asked to bring water bottles since water will be available to fill. There is no cut time and all paces are welcome. Shirts will be available for pick-up in Berea if the race is canceled. The organizer states there are no refunds.
Registration opens August 10, 2026 and closes October 23, 2026 with a registration fee of $10.00. The organizer notes that significant rains will close the trails to protect trail maintenance. In the event of muddy trails the race may be relocated to the Boones Trace trail parking lot at the base of Boone Street.
