Ruff Mutter 5k Trail Run and Family/Dog Walk
This community trail event takes place at Althouse Arboretum in Pottstown, PA. The program includes a 5K trail run, a Family/Dog Walk, and a Dog Days Fair with vendors and rescue organizations.

Entry fees are tiered: registration postmarked by September 14 includes a shirt for the 5K and a lower entry fee; later registrations and day-of entries pay a higher fee with shirts available while supplies last. Swag bags are distributed at registration pickup while supplies last. Optional online registration is available for a nominal service fee and closes at midnight the Wednesday before the event.
The 5K course is marked and uses portions of the arboretum’s wooded acres. Amenities listed for participants include preregistration shirts, goodie bags for runners and walk finishers, refreshments for finishers, ample parking, a finish-line clock, and instant timing results.
Awards are given to overall male and female finishers and to top finishers in multiple age groups from youth through 70+. For the Family/Dog Walk, participants may walk with a rescue dog for a small donation to a rescue. The event is rain or shine; there are no refunds or mailed awards.
