About the race
The Round Sheffield Run Winter edition is a multi stage trail running enduro based in Sheffield. The route links parkland and green spaces around Endcliffe Park and is made up of 11 timed stages that together total 20 km of timed running within an overall route of 24.5 km. Each timed stage is separately recorded and competitors receive results for each stage as well as a combined overall result.
The event accepts entries for Individuals or for Pairs. Pairs must complete all stages together. Competitors are set off at regular short intervals so there are staggered individual starts. Between timed stages runners may walk or jog and regroup, which is part of the event format and creates a social atmosphere on course and at the post event area.
Support on course includes food stations and medical cover. Entry includes a race number and SI timing dibber to collect on the event day, full route and stage information, optional event T shirt, complimentary race photos on Facebook, and access to the post event party with food and Thornbridge beer available at the finish. Estimated completion times range from about 1 hour 45 minutes to 4 hours 30 minutes. An Elite Wave with limited places has qualifying standards of 5k in 20 minutes for men and 22 minutes for women.
Entries open 20 September 2026 and close 12 December 2026. Minimum age is 15 on the event date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
