Rohan 245 Trail Classic
The Rohan 245 Trail Classic is a fundraising trail running event held on 24 September 2026 at De Grendel Wine Estate in the Durbanville Wine Valley on Plattekloof Road. Proceeds and a portion of entry fees support the Rohan Bloom Foundation, which is building a paediatric palliative care in‑patient hospice in Cape Town and providing family support for children with cancer and life limiting illnesses.
The event offers multiple marked routes and provides downloadable GPX files packaged as ZIP archives for course navigation. Entrants receive a goodie bag and a finisher’s medal; podium prizes are awarded to top finishers. Prize presentations require recipients to be present to collect podium or lucky draw prizes.
Discovery Vitality members can earn points for completing event distances, with the published point values in the event information. Onsite vendors include Feature Coffee and Happy Chefs. Parking is on the grass section next to the dam rather than by the restaurant; participants are asked to follow instructions from parking marshals.
