Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Fort Worth
Bigfoot Running Company presents the Red, White and Blue Half Marathon in Fort Worth, Texas, on July 10, 2027. The event is located at 2700 NW Loop 820 and is held in parks and green belts with mixed surfaces, including pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Race offerings cover a range of distances and formats:
- Kids Dash - about 50 meters for children 10 and under.
- 2 Miles - untimed, includes a shirt and medal.
- 4 Miles - chip timed, includes age-group awards.
- 8 Miles - chip timed, includes age-group awards.
- Half Marathon 13.1 miles - chip timed, includes age-group awards.
- Virtual Run 13.1 miles - virtual option for the half distance.
- Volunteer then Run 4 Miles - limited to the first 15 sign ups, includes a chip timed bib, shirt, and medal.
All finishers receive a race shirt and a medal. The 4-mile, 8-mile, and half marathon include first overall trophies for male and female finishers and special recognition for masters 40+. Standard age-group awards use gold, silver, and bronze pins across specified age categories.
Aid stations will be available on course and snacks and bottled water will be provided at the race rally tent. A DJ will provide music at the rally tent. Volunteers can serve in several roles and may receive a race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
