SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run
The SARR Rocky Horror Trail Run takes place at Eisenhower Park in San Antonio on October 24, 2026. The event uses a looped course called the Time Warp, a 3.3 mile loop on natural rocky trails that includes about 400 feet of elevation per loop and three short paved sections totaling just under three quarters of a mile.
Distances offered
- 53K: 10 loops, 33 miles, about 4000 feet gain
- 27K: 5 loops, 16.5 miles, about 2000 feet gain
- 10K: 2 loops, 6.6 miles, about 800 feet gain
- 5K: 1 loop, 3.3 miles, about 400 feet gain
The race is cupless; runners must carry a hydration device or a collapsible cup. One aid station on course provides water and electrolytes, with additional water and electrolytes at the start and finish. A bag drop and fuller aid station are available for 27K and 53K runners near the finish with a variety of sweet and salty items and warm food.
Virtual options are available for each distance. Virtual participants can print a bib, report their time online, and receive a finisher certificate. Virtual entries are not eligible for overall awards and packet shipping must be selected if pickup is not possible.
The event caps at 350 runners. Awards are given to top overall and top masters finishers by gender inclusivity categories; there are no age group awards. The event follows green race practices, has a first aid tent with EMTs, restricts dogs and strollers on course, and does not offer refunds.
