2nd Annual Rock the Climb - 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb
The event takes place on September 11, 2026 at the Hard Rock Guitar Hotel in Hollywood, Florida, located at 1 Seminole Way. It serves as a memorial tribute to the heroes lost on September 11, 2001, and raises funds for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie. The climb is hosted by the Firefighters Benevolent of Davie in partnership with the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
The event includes distinct participant categories for firefighters in full turnout gear, firefighters climbing in athletic wear, and members of the general public. Full gear is defined as helmet, bunker jacket, and pants; select categories include SCBA. Climbs are offered in three course lengths:
- 110 story climb
- 72 story climb
- 36 story climb
Participants may register as individuals or as part of a team. Upon registration and completion, participants receive a race package that includes a personalized race bib with an RFID timing chip and an event-exclusive dri-fit shirt. Finishers are awarded a commemorative medal, a swag bag, and refreshments at the event conclusion. A challenge coin and additional items are guaranteed to the first 500 registrants.
