Trail Running in El Moro Canyon

Rock It in El Moro Canyon is a trail event located within Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach, California. The event offers participants the opportunity to navigate the natural terrain of the park through two distinct distances:

  • 6K trail race
  • 10 Miles trail race

The courses feature climbs and descents throughout the canyon landscape. Participants can choose to run or hike their selected distance. The routes provide views of the Pacific Ocean as runners move through the park trails.

Registration includes digital race photos, an event shirt, and a finisher patch. The event headquarters and packet pick-up are situated in the lower Moro Canyon parking lot. The venue at Crystal Cove State Park opens its gates early for arrivals, and there is a vehicle parking fee required by the California State Parks at the entrance.

The event is subject to local weather conditions. In the event of rain or venue restrictions, the races may be rescheduled. Participants should be aware that the registration policy involves a transfer to the new date rather than a refund if a reschedule occurs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
