About the race
The Rivers Edge Ultra takes place on September 19, 2026 at Riverside RV Park, 51010 Range Rd 264, Spruce Grove, Alberta, in the North Saskatchewan River Valley within Parkland County. Races use single track trails that include river valley vistas, beaver dams, river crossings, steep inclines and declines, and a variety of wildlife.
Available race distances cover a range of looped courses that return to the start/finish area; loop lengths range from 9 km to 20 km.

Racers and volunteers must register online before August 15, 2026 to receive this year’s free swag; the specific swag item has not been decided and size selection may be required if apparel is chosen. Participation requires reading and agreeing to the event race waiver. Net proceeds from the event will be donated to Olive Tree Projects.
The event provides published policies on refunds: 30 or more days before race day entrants may choose a full refund less Race Roster administration fees or a deferral; less than 30 days before race day the options are an 80 percent refund less administration fees or a deferral.
